Stitches!

So I just recently received my first stitches. Let me just start off by saying that if my cut was 2 inches lower on my calf I most likely would have cut my Achilles tendon! But luckily that didn't happen and it didn't even hurt at all really. Its not even a cool story. Basically I sliced it on a piece of glass while taking out the trash. I volunteer at a wildlife center so you would think I would come across something more dangerous than glass but apparently not. However, I did get bit by a squirrel there once. Anyway, twelve stitches later and I can't go horseback riding or take my boxing class. Oh well, first time for everything right?

Air force wife...

So I am not married nor am I in the air force but I am dating someone that is about to leave for his basic training in Texas. And of course he wants to do one of the most dangerous jobs you can do in the air force, special operations. I am all about supporting the troops and I think it is great that people want to serve for this country but I am selfish. I already barely see him because we live three hours away from each other so I don't think it will be too too hard to adjust to but it is still going to suck. For eight weeks we will only be able to communicate through letters in the mail. No calling, texting, or even emailing! Also, did I mention that he wants to do this for life! Meaning he will always be leaving and coming home but I won't ever know when. Now we have only been dating for about 5 months but I have known him all throughout high school as well. I just worry so much and like to have my life planned out but lately my life has been so chaotic I can't plan anything! Ugh!!

Misunderstood breeds!

Eminem

So anyone else LOVE eminem?! Hahah so I love him and wish he would go on tour so I can see him preform live! I like all kinds of music and a lot of different artists but he is definitely my favorite and I love the movie 8 mile too!

My Life at the moment

So I am gradating from THE Ohio State University in June of 2012 and am super stoked! I mean yea I am so ready to be done with school and start my life essentially but on the other hand I am also super scared. Looking back at my parents it seems like they were already starting their family at this age and had jobs when they were my age. But then I look at me and my eight (yes eight I know its a lot!) roommates and not many of us know what we are doing after graduation or where we are going to live its CRAZY for me to think about. I mean yes I know I have an internship already set up for the summer at the zoo! Ahhh so excited about that by the way but anyways after that I have NO CLUE what I am going to do after that. My grandma used to (and still does) say get a profession not a degree but for me no specific major (thats a profession) stood out to me. And I always knew that I wanted to work with animals so I chose Zoology. I DO NOT regret that decision at all but I do wish I would have thought a little bit more about what I was going to do with that degree. I am hoping that something will come together for me as a result of my zoo internship and I am sure it will open some doors but I like to have a plan and right now that is not possible. My current lease will end around the same time my internship will end so I don't want to find a new place because I don't know if I will find a job in this area and I don't want to move back in with my parents either...and most of the places have so many breed restrictions and I am a sucker for breeds that are misunderstood and placed on those restriction lists. Also, I like LARGE dogs and there are a lot of weight limits as well. So I don't know what I am going to do...
